Quick Answer:
LightWave® CH2 is the higher-CRI flexible LED light sheet in the LightWave line. Its RGBW build reaches CRI 90 with 900 lm from the 5000K channel; the tunable white build covers 2700K–6500K at 1,800–1,850 lm per 12″ × 24″ sheet. Both are under 7 mm thick, cuttable and bendable. Not every CH2 build is CRI 90 — the tunable white version is Ra 80+.
What are the photometric specifications of CH2?
| Type | Color / CCT | LEDs | Power | Efficacy | Output per sheet | CRI |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tunable white | 2700K–6500K | 648 | 2 × 20 W | >90 lm/W | 1,800 lm (2700K) · 1,850 lm (6500K) | Ra 80+ |
| RGBW | RGB + 5000K | 4 × 288 | 4 × 11 W | >90 lm/W | 900 lm (5000K channel) | 90 |

When should you choose CH2 over Generation 1 Plus?
Choose CH2 when color accuracy is the brief — retail merchandise, cosmetics, food, hospitality finishes, museum graphics — and specify the RGBW build where CRI 90 is required. Choose Generation 1 Plus for general backlighting where Ra 80+ is sufficient and efficacy matters more.
