Coverage Period

LightWave LED light sheets are covered by our standard 3-year limited warranty from the date of shipment.

A warranty extension to a total warranty of up to 5 years from the date of shipment may be purchased within 90 days from the date of shipment. Any warranty extension is subject to a separate warranty extension contract and will be charged accordingly.

Our standard warranty terms apply to properly installed, maintained products used under normal operating conditions and in accordance with all LUXX-supplied installation and maintenance instructions.

Covered Products

This warranty covers the following LightWave product lines:

• LightWave® Roll It! flexible LED light sheets
• LightWave® Gen 1 Plus flexible LED light sheets
• LightWave® CH2 flexible LED light sheets
• LightWave® PIXX flexible LED light sheets

All covered products must be installed by certified electricians and used in accordance with LUXX written instructions and recommendations to qualify for warranty coverage.

What Is Covered

Our limited warranty covers defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service when:

• Products are properly installed by certified electricians
• Products are maintained in accordance with LUXX written instructions and recommendations
• Products are used under normal operating conditions
• Products are operated within specifications

If a product is found to be defective during the warranty period, LUXX will, at our discretion, either repair or replace the defective product at no charge. Replacement parts may be sent to you for installation by your team. Replacement products and parts are warranted for the remaining portion of the original warranty period or ninety (90) days, whichever is greater.

Buyer is responsible for transportation charges for materials sent for warranty repairs.

What Is Not Covered (Exclusions)

This warranty does not apply to any LightWave product which has been:

• Altered, modified, or repaired by anyone other than LUXX or an authorized third party
• Subjected to physical abuse, misuse, or improper installation
• Used or installed in any manner inconsistent with LUXX general installation instructions
• Subject to environmental contamination
• Used with power adapters not tested and recommended by LUXX
• Exposed to high voltage surges or electrostatic discharges
• Operated outside the product’s published specifications
• Used or installed in failure to follow LUXX product instructions
• Subject to any breach of third-party product component warranty

Important limitation: This warranty extends only to the original purchaser and not to your customers or to users of your products.

Complete Disclaimer: The foregoing warranty is in lieu of and excludes all other warranties, whether express or implied, by operation of law or otherwise, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. LUXX shall not be liable for indirect, special, incidental or consequential losses, damages or expenses, including without limitation loss of profits or revenue, loss of use of the product, cost of substitute product, or claims of customers for such damages, directly or indirectly arising from the sale, handling or use of the goods. LUXX’s liability is expressly limited to repair or replacement (in the form originally shipped) of non-conforming goods.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

Step 1: Notify LUXX
Contact the LUXX team and notify us of the alleged defect in your product. Provide your project name, product model(s), and install date.

Step 2: Obtain Return Authorization
You must obtain authorization from LUXX prior to returning any product or accessory. No product shall be returned without prior written authorization.

Step 3: Ship Prepaid
Ship the defective product prepaid to LUXX. You are responsible for all transportation charges.

Step 4: Factory Inspection
Upon receipt, LUXX will conduct a factory inspection of the returned product to confirm the defect.

Step 5: Repair or Replacement
If the product is confirmed defective under warranty terms, LUXX will repair or replace the product at no charge. Alternatively, at LUXX’s election, LUXX may credit you with an amount not to exceed the original purchase price.

All repairs or replacements are made at LUXX’s facility. Replacement products and parts may be new, reconditioned, refurbished, or otherwise factory remanufactured.
