Flexible LED Light Sheet FAQ

What are flexible LED light sheets?

Ultra-thin, bendable panels of LEDs on a cuttable substrate that deliver smooth, even backlighting across flat or curved surfaces. LightWave® sheets are under 7mm thick.

How are LED light sheets different from LED strips?

Strips light a line; sheets light an entire surface evenly with no hotspots — right for signage, stone, lightboxes and large architectural surfaces.

Can LightWave sheets be cut to size?

Yes — cuttable along designated lines to any panel, frame or custom shape on site.

Are they flexible enough for curves and columns?

Yes. At under 7mm they bend around pillars, curved millwork and tight radii while staying even.

How do I attach LightWave sheets?

Most variants have adhesive backing; a screw spacer set holds the sheet off the forward material to control hotspots and heat.

What color temperatures are available?

1800K–6500K, plus Tunable White, RGBW and Addressable (PIXX).

What CRI do LightWave sheets deliver?

The line is rated CRI 80+; the CH2 RGBW variant reaches CRI 90 for true-color retail and museum backlighting.

Are LightWave sheets dimmable?

Yes, with a compatible driver/controller; Tunable White and RGBW also adjust color.

Can LightWave handle large-format architectural walls?

Yes — Roll It! ships in continuous lengths up to 40 ft for feature walls, signage and transit corridors.

What is the difference between RGBW and Addressable (PIXX)?

RGBW sets the whole sheet to one color; PIXX uses SPI/pixel control for motion, gradients and animation.

Is there a warranty?

Yes — a 5-year warranty. See the warranty page for full terms.

How do I get a quote or spec help?

Send application, dimensions, color temperature and quantity through the quote form.
